As a preteen my imagination was roused and finally awakened as I read Madeleine L’Engle’s A Wrinkle In Time, C.S. Lewis’ The Chronicles of Narnia, and many more wonderful stories.
John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress is in my top ten favorite books and seeing his corner at Westminster Abbey, London was an unexpected surprise. No pictures allowed, or I would have taken many of the stained glass windows illustrating eight scenes from his famous work.
